Show INSURANCE AGENT SAID TO BE. TWISTING POLICIES Wlllard Done, who is acting insurance commissioner in the absence of Colonel George B. Squires, gives forth the statement state-ment that another complaint has been niado at his office of an alleged attempt bv a life insurance agent in this state to lapse old policies In ono company and write new ones in another company. This Is what is technically known among tho insurance fraternity as "twisting a policy." Such practice is against the law and the complaint Is being carefully investigated investi-gated bv the commissioner and should the fraud or deception be unearthed Iho llcenso of the agent will be revoked and this applies to any other agent who engages en-gages in such a practice. |
