Funeral arrangements have not been made. A large attendance Is requested. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT was called to the residence of Mrs. Palmer. 232 East Fourth South street, at 9:30 o'clock Tuesday morning. The blaze was caused bv tho explosion of a five-gallon can of oil. Practically no damage was done to tho house. VERNIS P. PARK was arrested Tuesday Tues-day night by Patrolman Calton while speeding his automobile on Brlgham street at a hluh rate. Ho was then taken to the police station, whero he deposited de-posited $25 bail for his appearance In court today. DR. JAMES B. DISTRICT JUDGE LEWIS Tuesdav granted E. V. TTTTUIps an interlocutory decree of divorce from Agnes E. Phil-Hps Phil-Hps on the ground that Mrs. Phillips had failed in her duty a a wife and mother. D. s. hospital hos-pital Tuesday for appendicitis by Dr J. C. Landenborger. and at' a late hour Tuesday night was reported as dolm? very well, with every hope for his specdv recovery unless complications arise. Mr. Thomassen is ono of the most prominent promi-nent young men of Kaysvlllo and Is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Thomassen of that city. |
