Show FIRES AT SPANISH FORK: BARN AND STORE SUFFER Special lo The Tribune. SPANISH FORK, Aug. 30. Fire broke out. in the stables of Goorgo Jnrvis of the Fourth ward at about -1 o'clock this afternoon, burning about twonty-fivc tons of hay and the samo amount of straw, besides the buildings. The fire department was there in good time, but on account of no pressure, the place being situated on a bench, it could do nothing. Tho origin of the fire is unknown. This is the third season sea-son that Mr. Jnrvis has been burned out in a similar manner. There was no insurance. Fire was discovered in the oil house of the Young Men's Co-op building this evening, and did damage nmpunt-ing nmpunt-ing to nbont .f.'lOO before it was put out. Quick work was made of it after the arrival of the fire department. Tho loss was partially covered by insurance. |
