Show GREAT SHEEP GROWERS' EXHIBIT IN THIS CITY Special to Tho Tribune. WEISER. Ida., Aug 30. The Butlcr-fleld Butlcr-fleld Livestock company of this city, the leading breeders and Importers of nne sheep In the United Stales, will this fall make a more extended exhibit of their line animals than ever before. Prob-ablv Prob-ablv no place In the world can flnor sheep be seen than at tho Butterflcld ranch, two miles from this city. Last vear Mr. Butterlleld. the president of the company, went to England and returned with a carload of the pick of the Lln-colns Lln-colns and Hampshlres of that noted sheep-raising country. The shipment cost more than $25,000. Next week the company will ship two carloads of their prize ewes nnd rams to Seattle, to be exhibited there, and then at Portland, at the fairs. The following week two car swill bo shipped to Salt Lake, and will bo shown at that placo and Ogden. Og-den. The four cars will be united at the Intormountaln fair at Boise. Tho exhibits ex-hibits will consist of llampshlres, Dc-Lalnes. Dc-Lalnes. Merinos. Ramboulettos and Lln-colns. Lln-colns. The Butterflcld company carry away the majority of the prizes wherever their stock Is shown. They captured all tho loading prizes nt the Alasko-Yukon-Pacltlc exposition and at tho 'National Livestock show at Chicago. Tho company com-pany Is the pop.sessor of many boautl-f boautl-f ill trophies. |
