Show 01 MQRE VERSION OF OJOJIICES Boston Firm Says Reported Bond Sale Is Hardly a Sale Yet. The following bulletin from Thompson. Thomp-son. Towle & Co. of Boston and New York in regard to the Ohio Copper company com-pany will prove Interesting If somowhat disappointing news for tho westorn stockholders. Should this -view of tho financing of tho Ohio provo correct, while not disclosing a hopeless situation, it is less favorable than tho stockholders have hod reason to anticipate in view of Mr. Ileinze's posltlvo statement that ho had sold $1,000,000 worth of Ohio Copper bonds abroad Tho bulletin follows: "Tho Ohio Copper company has not been financed, though It Is quite likely that it will bo. Mr. llclnzo upon his return from Europe gave out a statement that the companv would derive $1,000,-000 $1,000,-000 of cash sufficient for Its equipment, needs as a result of his trip abroad It should havo been added that he had reason to anticipate this. We understand that a syndicate of foreign bnnkcrs has agreed to make a public offering of tho Ohio Copper company's bonds, but no agreement was made to underwrite tho offering. If the bonds aro sold tho Ohio company will get tho money, but If the offering Is not successful the bankers bank-ers are under no obligations and In that case tho Ohio company would havo to look elsewhere for Its money. The char-actor char-actor of tho houses making the offering, however, would apparently Insuro a partial par-tial sale, even should the whole Issue not be disposed of." New York Mining StockB.
