Insanity held a spoolal meeting hero yca-I yca-I terday, attondad by the members - of the present board and the members of tho Incoming In-coming board, viz.: Govornor-elect Spry. Treasurer-elect Mattson and Auditor-elect Jewkes. , The consideration of tho biennial ro-port ro-port of Medical Superintendent Caldcr took up a great portion of the time. Bids for supplies for tho ensuing year were accepted, as follows: Coal. Smoot & Spafford; flour. Sprlngvllle Roller Mills; straw, James Mcldrum. All other bids were rojectod, and Superintendent Calder was Instructed to buy groceries and other supplies in tho open markot. Stato Deputy Linmore Price and R. V. Brown of Salt Lake arc hero for tho purpose pur-pose of organizing the charter council of The Mystic Toilers, which will be effected effect-ed Tuesday evening next In tho I. O. O. F. hall. The order admits men and women on equal terms. The Provo Standard Bred Horse association asso-ciation tins been organized with the following fol-lowing officers: C. H. Wood, president; J. William Knight, vice-president; W. D. Roberts. Jr., secretary and treasurer. The association has purchased from J. C. Leg-gett Leg-gett of Ogden his standard brod horse, "Billy Sherbert," for $3500. This horse was brought from Kentucky and has paced four mlle-hcats In less than 2:20 each. William W. Stevens of tho treasury department de-partment at Washington, D.
