Show ALLEGATIONS OF FRAUD AGAINST SAVOY COMPANY Two suits alleging fraud in incorporation incor-poration were filed against the Savoy , Hotel companv of East First South street in the district court Fridav. The plaintiff in one case is W. M. Beeghly. E. Leggett is the plaintiff in the other. R. V. Hansen. C. G. Potts, Johu J. Thouson "and F. B. Scott arc joined as defendants. The suits are the same except as to the amount tho plaintiffs seek to recover. re-cover. Booghlj' sets out that the company com-pany was fraudulently incorporated at a capitalization of $10,000, when in fact it was not worth to exceed $1000. Under Un-der this falso representation, Booghly says, ba was induced lo buy stock in tho company suDposed to " be worth $1000 for only .GOO. In his suit Leggett makes similar allegations, except he says that ho was 4 stung" for $1000, paying that amount for stock represented to be worth par. |
