Show EIGHTH GRADE PUPILS WORKING ON BIG FLAG Preliminary to the work of making thc biggest American flag In the world, several sev-eral hundred clghth-gradc pupils In the domestic science department of the elementary ele-mentary schools now are engaged in manufacturing man-ufacturing large banners or pennants to bo placed In the Odcon at the reception to be given the out-state tcachors attending at-tending the thirteenth annual State Teachers' Association convention, December De-cember 21-23, by the local teachers. Afterward Aft-erward these banners will be presented to Superintendent D. II. Chrlstenscn to adorn his office. There will be twenty-throo of the pennants, pen-nants, one for each of the elementary schools, after which they will be respectively respec-tively named. Each school will have a different color. The work Is under the supervision of Miss Anna L. Corbctl, supervisor of sewing. |
