Show PERSONAL MENTION. J. J. Thomas and C. A. Lepper of the local lodge of Odd Fellows went to Ncphl last evening to assist in tho initiation) of a large number of candidates candi-dates at that place. Charles P. Cote of St. Louis was a Salt Lake visitor during tho week, em route to California. Mr. Cote Is a prominent prom-inent manufacturer of tho Missouri city. Miss Edda Howe, who has beem sick with typhoid fever for tho past five weeks, has-taken a turn for the worse, to the great anxiety of her friends. E. C. Holmes, chief clerk of the United Unit-ed States Department of Agriculture at Washington, Is at the Knutsford, en route from California to the national capital. Mrs. A. H. Grose has returned from a most delightful visit at the World's fair, while Mr. Grose has continued on to Chicago and Detroit, to visit friends and relatives. Mrs. L. Engilman has returned from California, where she has been visiting her dnughter, Mrs. J. Appelbauin. Mrs. A. H. Raleigh, who has been visiting her daughter, Mrs. S. P. Rounds Rou-nds of Weiser, Ida., has returned, very much Improved In health. Miss Laura Farrell will entertain at a Halloween slumber party Monday night. |
