Show ' Ice Old Stork Visits New York Home Makes His Twentioth Journoy to Household, This Tlmo Creating an Unusual Condition. BROOKLYN, Oct. 23 -The stork flapped his wings above 4H McDonough street again and descended to make his twentieth visit to the household of Mr. and Mrs. Emanuel Leudesdorff. There was a happy commotion among the fifteen fif-teen living children, and now Mr. and Mrs. Leudesdorff have their twentioth child. The old bird, on his Friday night visit, created a condition somewhat unusual, un-usual, and the happy couple found that they now havo a son who ls younger than their grandson. Three Generations Now. There are three generations of the Leudesdorffs, and the grandfather has been stirred to the hope of a fourth. Mr. and Mrs. Leudesdorff have been married mar-ried twenty-four years, and during that time twenty children have been born to them. Four of these have died, but olx-teen olx-teen are living under tho same roof In McDonough street. The oldest daughter, daugh-ter, who is married, has a home of her own. He was 32 years old and she about 16. Now Mr. Leudesdorff 13 66 years old and his wife Is about 41. Mr. Leudesdorff Leudes-dorff ls no longer connected with the tailoring business, but Is now wharf superintendent su-perintendent in Brooklyn for the Slo-man Slo-man Steamship company and for the union of steamships. The happy couple will celebrate their silver wedding In November of next year. |
