Show Valentine Events At Layton Mall The young people of Davis County are joining the fun at the Layton Hills Mall Valentine's Valen-tine's celebration. THE THIRD and fourth graders at Lincoln Elementary School in Layton will decorate the mall with handmade valentines, valen-tines, Monday, Feb. 2 at 10 and 1 1 a.m. They are bringing valentines they made for anyone any-one in the world and an explanation expla-nation why they chose the person they did. If you bring your stamped, addressed valentines to Layton Hills Mall by S p.m. on Feb. 3. we will arrange to have it sent to your sweetheart from a "city with heart." Your valentine message will be postmarked post-marked from Loveland. Colo.; Valentine. Tex.; or Kissim-mee. Kissim-mee. Fla. A special touch for any valentine. ON VALENTINE'S Day. Feb. 14, bring your little sweetheart to the Layton Hills Mall Diaper Derby. The derby will be for children aged 6-24 months and will be a set of contests con-tests for prizes, notoriety and just plain fun. The festivities begin at 12:30 p.m. with a Valentine's Day concert by the "Young "Uns" a local children's chil-dren's singing group. The contests will include a crawling and toddling race, a chocolate pudding eating contest con-test and a baby costume contest. con-test. Bring your baby dressed as Sweet Pea, the New Year's Baby, Cupid or any famous baby. They will be judged on creativity, originality and overall effect.
