Show Farmington By KATHRYN JENNINGS 451-2027 Jerry and Julie King are parents pa-rents of a daughter born Jan. 2 1 in an Ogden hospital. The baby will be named Lisa and has a two-year-old brother Adam. Grandparents are Bill and Wanda Williams, Farmington and Mr. and Mrs. Grant King, Ogden. Sharon Elliott, who has been visiting in Farmington with her parents, Bill and Wanda Wan-da Williams and other relatives and friends since early December Decem-ber has returned home to Virginia Vir-ginia Beach, Va. Sharon came for the December Decem-ber wedding of her daughter Sherry to Robert Southworth of Farmington. She also spent several weeks in Provo where Mark and Debbie Elliott Allen live and became parents of a baby daughter. Lt. Col. Gary Elliott and sons Mark and Walt came from Virginia Beach for the wedding of Sherry and after spending the holidays with Gary's parents, pa-rents, Walt and Earlene Elliott and other relatives and friends, returned home to Virginia. ' Mrs. Elliott just received word, before flying back home, that her husband Gary had been appointed bishop for the 13th Ward of his church in Virginia Beach. The Junior Literary Club will meet Feb. 12 at 8 p.m. at the home of Mary G. Clark. Marie Lloyd will present a program featuring Teresa Stover who will give a travelogue trave-logue with slides. Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Moon and daughter Melissa spent several days with Jimmy's parents pa-rents John and Donna Jean Moon. Jimmy is in the U.S. Air Force and with his family, was en route to Germany for his next assignment. The Farmington Stake Laurel and priests held a standard stan-dard night on Tuesday evening at the stake center. Church authorities au-thorities were the speakers, speaking on the importance of the young men planning to go on missions for the church. The Shepherd Creek DUP Camp held their meeting on the day of the inauguration, so that was part of the program. The hostess was Karla Smith and Carrie Farr presented a history. |
