Project Description The proposed project would utilize the existing Army Corps of Engineers' En-gineers' East Canyon Dam and would consist of a penstock, a powerhouse with one or more generating units having a total rated capacity of 1,416-KW, and an II -mile long transmission transmis-sion line. The project would be capable of generating up to 12.0 GWH annually. Purpose of Project Energy generated at the project would be sold to Utah Power and Light Company. Proposed Scope and Cost of Studies under Permit The work proposed under the preliminary pre-liminary permit would include economic analysis, preparation prepara-tion of preliminary engineering plans, and a study of environmental environ-mental impacts. Based on results re-sults of these studies, Applicant Appli-cant would decide whether to proceed with more detailed studies and the preparation of an application for license to construct and operate the project. pro-ject.
