Show Stanton Rites "A. Rex John Stanton, age 79 of , Bountiful, died Jan. 30, 1981 in the Lakeview Hospital. He was born Jan. 16, 1902 in Lu-cien, Lu-cien, Okla. to Ambrose and Martha Lucinda Wilson Stanton. Stan-ton. He married Martha Martin Mar-tin on June 6, 1928 in Woodruff, Wood-ruff, Utah. i HE WAS a member of the LDS Church and a retired engineer en-gineer of public health. He -served in the Army during World War I and in the Navy during World War II. He was a rmember of the VFW, past president of Federal Civil Service Ser-vice Employment, 32nd de--gree Mason F&AM, member of Kalif Temple Shriners and rpast commander of Bountiful American Legion. He had rlived in Yellowstone, Wyo., 3Cody, Wyo., Billings, Mont.; r and for the past eleven years in 5 Bountiful..: ... . .-.i n Mr. Stanton is survived by -his wife, Bountiful; two daughters, daugh-ters, Mrs. Robert (Joyce) H Smith, Inola, Okla.; Mrs. C.W. (Phyllis) Bucke, San r Jose, Calif.; one son. Rex J. 5 Stanton, Jr., Sandy; 8 grand-Jff grand-Jff children; one brother, Keith :M, Stanton, Des Moines, REX JOHN STANTON Iowa. MEMORIAL services were held Tuesday, Feb. 3. 1981 at 2 p.m. at the Lindquist's Bountiful Bounti-ful Chapel. Friends called one hour prior to the service. The family suggested contributions contri-butions to Shriner's Crippled Children's Hospital in lieu of flowers. |
