Show lk c lWt - iV": HONOR HOSTAGES Students at Farmington Elementary School welcomed the hostages home by releasing a bevy of balloons. from Iran. A TV station had taken pictures and they even saw themselves on the noontime noon-time broadcast. PTA mothers had tied yellow yel-low ribbons all morning and helped fill the balloons. SL'SAN GILES wrote on a tied-on card, "To the hostages, hos-tages, we are all glad you could come back." Kimberly Fluhrer wrote, "Dear hostage, I'm glad you are back and free and I hope you are happy." All hope that someone will find their balloon and it was reported re-ported that they were sailing high in the sky nearing Kays-ville, Kays-ville, a little later, on a good breeze. This is a day which the students stu-dents of Farmington elementary elemen-tary School will all remember. Ki The Farmington Elementary Elemen-tary School sent approximately approximate-ly 600 balloons filled with helium, into the skies on Thursday. That was the "thanksgiving day" for the returned re-turned hostages. EACH BALLOON had a tag tied to it with an appropriate verse to whomever found it. There was also the name and address of each student, to re turn the balloon to the school. Mike Smith, Curtis Stoddard, Stod-dard, Brandon Dyer, Lincoln Dygert and Scott Dubois,, all sixth graders, said they had also tied a very small American Amer-ican flag onto their balloons, all tied with a yellow ribbon.
