Show Workshop Set For Parents Of Youngsters Davis School District's Parent Pa-rent Education Resource Center Cen-ter is offering a three-evening workshop for parents of young children beginning Feb. 1 1 and running through Feb. 25. THE WORKSHOP is entitled enti-tled "Is There a Better Way" and will deal with toilet training, train-ing, bed wetting and behavior management (getting your young children to do what you want them to do). To gain maximum max-imum benefit from the workshop, work-shop, attendance at all three sessions is essential. The fee for the course is $6 with the second parent free. Enrollment will be limited to the first 20, THE COURSE will be conducted con-ducted by Nancy Fischer, occupational therapist, and Judy Allen-Nixon, Davis County School District social worker. Both are affiliated with the Developmental Disabilities Dis-abilities Preschool Program for Davis County. The course will begin each Wednesday evening at 7:30 p.m. and will be conducted at the Monte Vista Center in Farmington at 70 South 200 East. THE SUBJECTS to be discussed dis-cussed are: determining readiness readi-ness of parent and child; the effective use of reinforcement techniques; and the use of charts both to plot strategy and reward the child.
