Under the direction direc-tion of our senior class officers, offic-ers, Russ Workman, Cindy Zeigler and Kristen Ellis, this assembly is bound to be one you won't want to miss, or will be likely to forget. SPEAKING OF seniors, we would like to thank the Class of 1980 for the new marquee for the welcoming home of the freed hostages. Well, on Saturday night, the anticipated senior ball will take place. The theme is "The Time Has Come" and the dance will be held in the Capitol Capi-tol Rotunda at 8 p.m. HAVE A fantastic week, and juniors and sophomores, don't get too upset if a senior seems a bit pushy on seniority day you'll have your turn! By MARCIA ALLEN Senior Week has come again with all of its glory, excitement and unsurpassable activities. Such events are bug-stuffing contests, senior seniority day, senior lunch and much more. Prizes for the various contests will be quite worthwhile as they will represent free tickets to the dance on Saturday and free corsage and picture certificates. certi-ficates. With such items for the rewards, you ought to attempt winning them. , . BEFORE WE let this grand week end, one has to give a huge and appreciated "thank you" to the participants of the 1981 Ragnarock Week. This was an outstanding week and the cup of activities runneth over and over. Among the highlights was the first annual Kagnarock-around-the-clock dance-a-thon. It was a blooming success suc-cess as the Muscular Dystrophy Dystro-phy Association helped to sponsor and aide the student-body student-body officers and cheerleaders with it. ALSO ACCENTING the magic of Ragnarock were the double wins on our basketball court as our Viking team displayed dis-played their magic. Beating both Highland and Bountiful, we now lead the region by quite a sizable margin. Next on the agenda is the game against the Panthers as Viewmont heads to West on Friday night. Good luck team, and don't forget that "we believe." Friday is going to be a packed pack-ed day as the senior assembly is going to burn at full speed |
