Show By MELINDA NOKER Easter vacation was fun, but now it's time to buckle down for the final six weeks of the school year. But, hope is not lost! We're going to keep Viking students so busy the next few weeks that before they realize it-summer will be here. THIS WEEK is Junior Week, and our junior officers have been working hard to make this week a big success. On Monday the junior sweepstakes began. Tuesday and Wednesday special lunch activities were planned for all Viking students. Tonight, a movie will be shown in the auditorium. "One on One" will begin at 7:30, for all Viking students. Juniors will be admitted for 75 cents and seniors and sophomores will be charged $1.50. THURSDAY will host another special lunchtime activity, ac-tivity, while Friday will host the annual Junior Assembly. The juniors will provide entertainment en-tertainment for this assembly, assem-bly, royalty will be announced and then cheerleading tryouts will follow. Then as a grand finale for the week, Viewmont's Junior Prom will be held Saturday, April 21, from 8-11 p.m. in the Hotel Utah Grand Ballroom. Music will be by "Manna" and 'Time In A Bottle" is the theme. ROYALTY for this special prom includes: Rob Moos-man Moos-man and Steph Caputo, king and queen; Bryce Trump and Janene Hill, first attendants; and Paul Hansen and Katina Skedros, second attendants. Tickets for the prom will be on sale this week during lunches, cost is $5 per couple. Congratulations to the new studentbody officers for the 1979-80 school season. They will be: Bruce Robinson, president; Katina Skedros, vice president; and Steph Caputo, secretary. Already they are put to work, as appointed ap-pointed officers are yet to be chosen. For all Viking students wishing to apply, applications are now available availa-ble in the business office. FOR THE sporty side of things--the following games are scheduled: Wednesday, April 18, J.V. baseball at Roy, 4; boys track at Bountiful, 3:30. Thursday, April 19, girls gymnastics at Skyview, 4; water polo (currently 2nd in the state) at Cyprus with Skyline, 2: 30; J.V. baseball at Bountiful, 4; Friday, boys tennis at Layton, 4; soccer with Orem, 4: 15, and baseball with Layton on the Viking diamond, 4. TUESDAY, April 24, boys tennis with Roy, 4; and soccer with Bountiful, 4:15. On Saturday, Sa-turday, the 21st, the Weber State Invitational Track meet will be at Weber College.
