Show Semi-pro Ball Planned In Bin. Collier, Heinz, and Associates (CHA) a financial suiting firm from Salt Lake will sponsor its firs, semi-pro basketball tournament this week in the n1 tiful High School. The double elimination tourna will begin Thursday, April 19, and extend throuphT" turday, April 21, beginning at 6 p.m. each day. THE EIGHT teams that will be battling each othe the first place prize money come from Texas, Califr Arizona, and Utah. The team rosters include such n as Jim Eakins, Buster Matheney, Jeff Jonas i Cheesman, Larry Cheesman, Dick Nemelka, Rich u ! Kenny Gardner, Johnny Noble, Al Dewitt, Jim ty!"S Riley Wimberly, Nate Hawthorne and many more In addition to the basketball games themselves ih will be free drawings each game for a prize. To add to the tournament there will be a consecutive foul l' contest Thursday night, a slam dunk contest Frit) ' night, and a long shot contest Saturday night. lf |
