Show Eight And Forty Meets Thirty-five members of the Eight and Forty Group of the Salt Lake City area met tor dinner in the Servus Drug, Dining Room. Mrs. Wanda North, in-coming president of the group, conducted the meeting in the absence of the president, Mrs. Donna Neil-son Neil-son of Bountiful. i MRS. DORA Trowbridge, and Mrs. Lois Pickett helped with the decorations for the table, the meeting room and also planned the meal. Following the dinner, which was opened with the invocation, invoca-tion, the salute to the flag and initiation ceremony was held for seven new members. Mrs. Frankie Olsen represented the Bountiful group as a new member. THE GROUP initiated were dressed in clown suits, and had to put on their clown face makeup in the dark. This really made them look like clowns. The motto of the Eight and Forty is "For Fun and Service." The clown makeup was really for fun. Officers were nominated for the ensuing year. Mrs. North will be the new president; Mrs. Noriene Hatch is the nominee for historian his-torian and Glade Millward is the nominee for chaplain. Other nominees were from the Salt Lake City area. THE NEW officers will be elected at the next meeting of the Eight and Forty which will be held in May in Boun- U The project for the year has. been to make children's pajamas for the children of veterans who are in the TB Hospital.
