An election was held in. order to vote on the camp name. Many choice and fun names were suggested with Lakeview being first choice and Mountain View being second choice. JOLAYNE RANDALL, chorister led the members in the song "Rosy Nell." Francess Fran-cess Lee, lesson leader, gave a very interesting lesson on pioneer stories of the past. Noreen Burton assigned Rosland Thorton to give the history of her ancestor at our next meeting. A good deal of excitement was generated by the county representatives for all to attend at-tend the South Center Davis County Jubilee on May 21 at the Bountiful 12th and 22nd Wards. THE NEXT meeting of the Lakeview DUP's will be held at the home of Arlene Crawley, 735 North 550 East, Bountiful, at 7:30 p.m. Lorraine Cutler will serve as cohostess. This will be the last meeting of the year until September. All 'hose interested who are qualified to become Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and live in our area are invited to attend. |
