Show y'V . .....if SW JL I 213 IN FESTIVAL 213 piano students from the Davis County area will participate in the annual Students Achievement Program to be held April 21 at Woods Cross High School. Participating students will be critiqued in six areas from teachers from all over the state of Utah. Areas of adjudication will be: Music Appreciation, Theory, Technique, Sight Reading, Scale. Playing and Performance. Participating teachers are: Merla Little, chairman; Ruth Yancey and Zina Riches, co-chairmen; co-chairmen; Janet Thompson, state U.M.T.A. president; Elaine Holbrook, Davis County president; Beverly Nelson Virginia Sheffield, Shef-field, Carolee Eriksson, Dorothy Dautel, Margene Knowlton, Sue Parsons, Manon Rees, and Sarah Thomas. Among those getting ready are, 1 to r, Melissa, Jennifer, and Danielle Carr, Ruth Yancey instructor, Becky Cheney, Cherilyn Carter, Steven and Mark Smedley and Merla Little, student achievement chairman. |
