THE FREE Red Cross Basic Water Safety Seminar is a one day six hour seminar beginning at 10 a.m. and lasting until 2 p.m. Red Cross Water Safety certificates will be issued upon successful completion of the seminar. Get ready for summer fun "Water Proof" yourself and your family! Course objective is to provide the individual, regardless of his lack ot sWimming ability, with the knowledge and skills to safely , handle aquatic emergencies. emergen-cies. " (taken from Red Cross Textbook). Even non-swimmers non-swimmers can learn to be water safe, make no-risk rescues res-cues and learn basic water safety. ANYONE TEN years and older is eligible. However, children under 15 must be accompanied by a parent. Adults, especially, are encouraged en-couraged to attend. This course is recommended for parents,' boaters, fishermen, youth leaders, pool owners, scouts -anyone who might be around water this year. At least one member of every family should take ad-' vantage of this free opportunity! oppor-tunity! However, the course is for mature persons only. Six hours classwork can be grueling and hard for the immature, im-mature, who in turn makes it hard for everyone else. Please do not bring babies or young Children. THOSE WHO wish, may get in the water to practice skills, , but no one is required to do so to pass. Enrollment and space is limited, so advance reservations reserva-tions are necessary..
