Show Ballard j Telintha Rasmussen 9 Phone72875 i Dick Kettles return from Hawaii trip Mr. and Mrs. Dick Kettle and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrance Keep of Neola won a trip to Hawaii from the Massy Ferguson Implement Co. in Roosevelt. They drove to Denver and caught the plane to fly to Hawaii. They were gone 7 days. While in Hawaii they attended the LDS Cultural Center, saw the Harrington Harr-ington Show, visited Pearl Harbor and the graveyard where, Ernie Pyle was buried and many other things. Mr. and Mrs. Rasmussen have a new daughter, born Jan. 10, at Duchesne County Hospital. She weighed 7 lbs. 8 oz. and was named Amy. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Wm. H. Arnold and Mrs. Kay Rasmussen of White Rocks. Great grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Robb of Farm Creek. Mr. and Mrs. Jessie Clark and baby son were here for the weekend visiting at the Verden Heaton home. Jessie is attending the BYU at Provo and will graduate in April. Karen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Max Todd and Dale Smith from California will be married April 10, in the Provo Temple. They will be making their home in Roosevelt. Dale works for the Roosevelt City Police Force. The Max Todds have a new gran-daughter gran-daughter born to Brent and Debra Uresk of Arcadia, on December 25, 1979. She was born at the Duchesne County Hospital. She weighed 6 lbs. 4 oz. and was named Kristen. Other grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Frank Uresk of Myton. Great grandparents are Mrs. Russell Todd of Roosevelt and Mrs. Oren Olsen of Granger. Telintha Rasmussen returned home from California last week after spending spen-ding 2 months with her children. Or-man, Or-man, who lives in Upland; Joseph, who lives in Ontario; and Carl who lives in Hayward. They are all married. She went to Calif, to see Joseph's first child named and blessed by his father and given the name of Joseph Dale Jr., Jan. 26. He weighed 7 lbs. 6 oz. and will be named Jacob Lee. Grandparents are Mrs. Elizabeth Harrison of La point and Mr. and Mrs. Garnett Birchell of Roosevelt. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Squires have a new son, born Jan. 3, at 3 a.m., the first baby born in 1980 in Uintah County. He weighed 8 lbs. 8 oz. and was named Oliver Reed, after his two great grandparents. grand-parents. The baby was born in Squire's home. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Grant Betts and Mr. and Mrs. Spencer Squire of Sandy. Great grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Reed McConkie of Bountiful. Kipp Gardner was home over the weekend from Logan, where Kipp, is a third year student at the Utah State University. He came to visit his parents, the Earl Gardners, and attend Mary Ann Chasel's LDS mission farewell. Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Rasmussen and Mr. and Mrs. Grant Herbert flew to Los Angeles to attend the horse sale. While there they used Norman Rasmussen's motor home for transportation transpor-tation and to live in. Deloy and Ina Richcns went to the LDS temple Thursday, January 31 to be married. The Budd Daviscs have two new grandchildren. Donna and Orland Anderson of Grand View, Idaho have a new son born Dec. 16, in Mt. Home, Idaho hospital. He weighed 9 lbs. 13 oz. and was named Trevor Dale. Other grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Dale Anderson of Mt. View, Idaho. Grent grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Wm. H. Arnold, and Mrs. Virginia Anderson of Neola. The Davi.ses other grandchild was born at the Duchesne County Hospital to Betty and Douglas Iorg of Roosevelt, December 26, weighed 6 lbs. 14 oz. and was named Lini "Marie. Other grandparents grand-parents are Mr. and Mrs. Milt Iorg of Roosevelt. Great grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Wm. H. Arnold. Some of the people in Ballard, who have been and are in the hospital are Mourine Hobbs, Bonnie Single and Earl Gardner. Mirth Gardner was in Salt Lake City to see her doctor. Bonnie Slagle is sponsoring an 11 year old girl, who lives on the Haiti Island in the South Pacific, It costs $111 a month ana this will provide me child with 1 hot meal a day for 5 days a week while attending school and pays all of her school expense. She attends the La Croix school on the LaGonavc Island. This project is called compassionate compas-sionate child service. Mr. and Mrs. Hobby Arnold have o new son, born Dec. 7 In the Duchesne County Hospital. lie weighed 8 lbs. 6 oz. Hobby's brother, Larry, came from Calif, and blessed and named the baby Daren, January 5. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Wm. H. Arnold and Mary Alwood of Vernal. |
