Allred ordered '. the public safety department today to send IS men to Dallas at once "to put a stop to the beating of persona per-sona and other violence there." The governor acted after reading of reported threats against George Baer. official of the United Hatters and Milliners' union, who was abducted ab-ducted recently and flogged by a group of men. He denounced ths violence and declared de-clared that if 25 men were not enough to prevent recurrence he would send more.
