"Green Pastures," Connelly's Idea of a negro heaven, has an all-negro cast and was produced under Connelly's Con-nelly's personal supervision. It folio fol-io vs closely the stsgs plsy. Ths Hall Johnson choir is an added feature. Saucy Jane Withers is an orphan who turns out to be quite somebody, despite the picture's title, in "Little Miss Nobody." Desperately striving to be good, shs gets in one mixup after another, until it ends with her capturing a desperate criminal. Also in the cast sre Jane Darewell, Ralph Morgan and Sara Haden.
