CHEZ RULES OUT HOSPITAL FUND Attorney General Joseph Ches held Thursday that a reported plan by Provo and Utah county to contribute con-tribute $10,000 in public fund toward to-ward a proposed Commonwealth hospital la Illegal. Mr. Chea aaid ha had been Informed In-formed th hospital would be a private pri-vate on and that the state constitution consti-tution forbids investment of public funds In private enterprise. In return for th money, the city and county wer to be permitted to aend their charity cases to the hospital free of charge. Mr. Ches held tha city and county, coun-ty, however, could contract with a private hospital for care of public charges.
