OCR Text PREMIUMS SET FOR FARM FAIR FARMINGTON Prizes totaling approximately $1000 will be distributed distrib-uted to winning entries at Davis county's Farm bureau days and fair at Lagoon, August 29 and M, Sheriff Sher-iff Joseph Holbrook, chairman, announced an-nounced Tuesday. Prises have been contributed by business bouses and Industries of the county, "All committees are working to make this tha largest and most interesting in-teresting fair ever held ia the county," Mr. Holbrook said. "We are making arrangements to entertain enter-tain both young and old during the entire show." The awards will be mads for flowers, fruits and vegetables, horse pulling, handicraft work, livestock, baseball and other sports. Premium books, listing prises for various entries, en-tries, have been sent tsj people throughout the county. Wendell Barnes, chairman of tha baseball committee, said Tuesday a special championship Farm bureau game 1ias been arranged. A Major Howes' program ia planned for both days under the direction of Myron Layton, recreation chairman. This program will be held at I . m. Wednesday and at noon Thursday.
