Show Parowan's Fair 5 days of action Parowan's 109th annual Iron County Fair will be five days of lively action this year, according to manager Scott Haycock. The combined agricultural exhibition, rodeo, horse racing, parade and carnival will take place September 3 through 7., Miss Iron County Pageant will start things off on Friday the 4th and from then on there will be no let-up in the fun and excitement. A feature that has proven popular is Minnie's Mansion Days program at Brian Head from 1 to 7 p.m. Sunday, September 6. This will be followed by a variety show starring fair and rodeo queens and Bananas the Clown at Parowan High School. Horse Racing at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 5 will be enlivened by a minimum purse of $400 if five horses . start, and on Labor Day by an added purse of $1,000. This should bring out the best runners in the state.
