Show Grimshaw earns scholarship fa i Susan Grimshaw has been awarded the scholarship to Southern Utah State College presented each year to a member of the Nike Club of the Cedar City High School by the Cedar City Business and Professional Pro-fessional Women Club. The award was made at the monthly meeting of the group, May 11, at the Sugar Loaf Cafe. Grimshaw, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Grimshaw of Enoch, has been very active in school and community affairs, having belonged to the Nike Club, Pep Club and FHA, serving as historian to the latter in her junior year. She has also served as Girls Representative to the Student Body Council, and as chairman of the Activity Committee in student body government. govern-ment. She has participated par-ticipated in forensics and in vocational competition com-petition on Vocational Day held at SUSC, placing first in filing, first in shorthand and second in accounting. Other graduating seniors of the Nike Club also honored included Jane Leonard, president; Lori Grimm, vice-president; vice-president; Cindy Leslie, secretary; Jennifer Jarvis; Julene Palmer; Shelley Bundrick; Shelley Lewis, Mary Ann Starr; and Connie Musser. The Nike Club was organized at the high school in 1971 under the sponsorship of the local BPW Club and was patterned after the BPW format, stressing service to community and school, as well as self-improvement.
