Bronco, Pony all-stars The Vernal Bronco League has two all-star teams for this summer. Members of the number one Vernal team are: Cory Dalton, Shane Gross, David Gurr, Quinn Pierce, Lloyd Richards, Ryan Siddoway, Rod Hilkey, Brian Smuin, Kevin Smuin, Devin Bailey, Larry Curtis, Grant Francis, Kelly Barker and Robert Merrill. The coaches are Scotty Gross, Bob Pope and Gene Gurr. Vernal's number one team will encounter en-counter Mueller Park of Bountiful, Monday at 5 p.m. in the first round of an area tournament in Lehi. Other members of the tourney are: Lehi number one and two teams, Roosevelt and Vernal's number two team. Members of the Vernal number two team are: David Merino, Mike Slaugh, Robert Dayna, Darrin Haslem, Roger Hall. Scott Slaugh, Val Mortensen, Ricky Porter, Curt Taylor, Quinnj Downard. Jeff Shiner, Clark Barker, Derrick Adams, Darrin Johnson, and Clint Mecham. The coaches of the team are Don Johnson and Neldon Slaugh. The Vernal number two team has a bye in the first round and will battle Lehi's number one team, Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. The tourney will last until July 21.
