Show By Diedra Northern A large crowd attended the wedding dance of Kent and Judy Brighton Friday night. Nola Blumill, sister of Judy, sang "You Light Up My Life" and "Somewhere My Love." Judy and Nola sang "Have I Told You Lately" and "My Happiness," accompanied by Marie P. Hatch. Nola's husband, Rodney atended the dance. They are from Lyman, Wyoming. Judy's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Al Elmber of McKinnon, Wyoming were also in attendance at-tendance and had a good time. Besides this being a special night for the Brightons, Judy became grandmother grand-mother for the first time. A baby girl was born to Mr. and Mrs. Ben Stoll of Green River, Wyoming. Other visitors were: Barbara Scholes, Dick Adams, Jean and Verlynn Labrum all of Roosevelt; Rosland Smith Bailey, Jason Smith, Shouna Bailey, and Rosland's mother-in-law, all of Fort Collins, Colorado. Jason is the grandson of Cliff and Elma Smith. Robert and Betty Zeller and Morris and Morda Cook all of Vernal. We hope all these new visitors enjoyed en-joyed the dance and will come again. We appreciate Kent and Judy for the wonderful dance they sponsored and wish them many happy years together. Lee and Iola Lisonbee announced their dance they will sponsor on July 20 for everyone. They were married June 30 at Bluebell, Utah. Some of the dancers attended the Friendship dance Thursday night in Salt Lake City. They were Melba Sergeant and Marie Hatch, Elma Smith, Newel and Marion Behunin. Gladys Dow, Mrs. Sergeant and Mrs. Behunin attended entertainment by a Hawaiiaq group Wednesday of last week at Bottle Hollow. Dinner was enjoyed by 130 Senior Citizens at the Center July 9. On next Monday's menu is roast beef, potatoes and gravy, buttered carrots, green salad, fruit salad, hot rolls, cake and ice cream. Also next Monday July 16 the Senior Law Project is planning to be in Vernal at the Center. This project is to help Senior Citizens with free legal counseling they might need. Individual counseling will be available after the dinner. Anna Pierson was the winner at the bingo table July 3. Coming in second was Edith Gale with four games. Third was a three way tie between Vernal Gehring, Marion Swain, and Ada - Murray. Happy Birthday this week to Anna Pierson, July 13; Milt Wooley July 14.
