Show Scouts breakfast menu takes shape Start with 300 gallons of breakfast drink. Take 600 pounds of pancake flour and make several scillion pancakes and serve them up with 30 pounds of margarine and then pour on 50 gallons of pancake syrup. Serve with 450 dozen eggs, season those with a case of salt and a case of pepper; have a side dish of 2000 pounds of fresh pork sausage, and serve that all up with 150 gallons of milk. With all those ingredients, the 24th of July Boy Scout Breakfast Committee promises all comers the biggest and heartiest breakfast ever according to Breakfast Chairman. Dr. Dan Price. Cal Dee Reynolds, Chairman of the Groceries Committee, added all those ingredients will be on hand for the morning of the 24th to serve hundreds of hungry folks to start their day of celebrating. Breakfast serving will start at 6 a.m. and continue until 10 a.m. at the Vernal Ballpark Complex behind Uintah High School and just off the Maeser highway. Tickets Committee Chairman, Greg Bishop said the tickets are going at $6 for two or less people and $12 per family. A goal of $15,000 has been set . for this year's breakfast according to Dr. Price. He says the money will be ' . used to support the scouting program throughout Ashley Valley. |
