Show Scott Einerson claims bride (late for last week) Tammy Frost and Scott Einerson were married June 30 at the Basin Area Vocational Center by John B. Gale. A reception followed the ceremony and a program was presented. Some of the special guests from out of the Basin were: The Dick Einersons of Blanding: Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Hunt, Logan; The Lee Battys, Hurricane; Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Tippets. Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Einerson, Magna; Mr. and Mrs. Jack Einerson, Orem. All of the Einerson family, who traveled to RqiHH fnr the wedding, stayed overnight at their parents home and had a family get-to-gether before leaving Sunday for their respective homes. Mirth Gardiner spent five days in St. Marks hospital in Salt Lake City where she had a knee operation. She returned home last Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Squires of Gunnison, were in Ballard to see their new grandson blessed and named in Sacrament Meeting last Sunday in Ballard Ward. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Delov Squires and was given the name of Russell Dean by his father. The baby son of Byron and Veida Tomlinson was named and blessed in North Ballard Ward Sacrament meeting Julv 1 by his great uncle, Harry Tomlinson, of Cedarview. His grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Art Tomlinson. There will be a dance July 6 at the Golden Age Center honoring Mr. and Mrs. Kent Brighton, who were recently married. Linda lore and four children of Cincinnaii, Ohio, who are here for a month-long stay with her mother, Clara Timothy, visited at the home of an aunt, Telintha Rasmussen, last Monday. Jack Spencer died July 2 at the home of a son. Richard Spencer in Salt Lake City. Ted son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Allred arrived home last Sunday from a two year LDb mission to Peru, South America. His parents picked him up at the Vernal Airport. Next Sunday at 3:30 he will report his missionary experiences ex-periences in Sacrament meeting at Ballard North Ward. Mr. and Mrs. Karl Betts attended the Alden White reunion at Logan last Saturday. All nine children were in attendance. The group consisted of about 50 descendents. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Birchell went to Plainview, Texas for a family reunion for the Hugh Shull family. About 90 people were present. Mrs. Birchell said she visited relatives she hadn't seen for 48 years. They were in Texas one week. Dixie, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Allred went with her sister, Carol Meryhew to California for 10 days. She returned home last Monday. All of the Deloy Richens children were in Salt Lake City over the weekend to see their father, who is still in the LDS Hospital. Heber and Ruth Rasmussen were in Salt Lake City last Friday buying material with which to finish their home. Funeral services were held for Lorna . Russell last Tuesday at 1 p.m. in North Ballard Ward. She died June 30 in a Salt Lake City hospital. She was the wife of Reuben Russell. Viola Jensen was injured by accident while helping her husband, Jess, haul hay. She was taken to a Salt Lake City hospital over 10 days ago and is still there. |
