Show Impressive Rites Pay Tribute To Hiram Adamson Impressive funeral services for Hiram Melvin Adamson were conducted con-ducted Thursday afternoon of last week, in the Fourth ward chapel, by Bishop John W. Pulley. Speakers at the services were James T. Gardner, Alma O. Erick-son, Erick-son, William B. Erickson, and President Presi-dent Clifford E. Young. T. A. Greenwood offered the opening prayer and Daniel H. Jorgensen pronounced pro-nounced the benediction. The grave was dedicated by Warren F. Anderson. An-derson. Musical selections included a quartet, quar-tet, "Some Time We'll Understand", by Rulon Nicholes, A. J. Butte, Kenneth Ken-neth Robinson and Leo Hansen; a solo, "O My Father," by Reed Davis; a duet, "On Life's Highway," by Rulon Ru-lon Nicholes and Kenneth Robinson; and a vocal solo, "Face to Face," by Darrell Wanlass. Mrs. Mary Humphries Hum-phries was the accompanist. Mr. Adamson, a former resident of American Fork, died Monday of last week at a Salt Lake hospital, of 1 cardiac failure, after an illness of four months. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Myrtle McClement Adamson, Adam-son, and two children, Dawna Joyce and Robert Mack, all of Salt Lake City; his parents, John C. and Agnes Adamson, of American Fork; and two sisters, Mrs. Melba de St. Jeor and Mrs. Phyllis Martin of Salt Lake City. |
