Show THIRD WARD PROGRAM Rev As a special preliminary feature of the program presented by the families of Mrs. Ethel Carlson and Mrs. Leone Told at the Third ward sacrament services Sunday evening, the Trailbuilders of the Primary association held Red Letter Day exercises. ex-ercises. Mrs. Parley Christiansen, Mrs. Barney Hilton and Mrs. Alfred Nielson were in charge. Fred Scholes of the bishopric presided. "The Meaning of the Trailbuilders Salute" was explained by Glen Davis. Dee Walker gave the Four Trails of the program. Kenneth Richins told of the meaning of blazes and their uses. A talk on the Pine Tree Emblem was given by Boyd Adamson. Kay Christiansen told of the history of the writing of the Articles of Faith. The story of the Restoration of the Aaronic Priesthood was related by Andy Johnson. Conducting the family fam-ily program was Mrs. Ethel Carlson. Dale West talked on Truth. He stressed the basic truth eternal progression "Even God is a developing develop-ing God", he said. : Betty Carlson read "Friendship" by Edgar Guest. A duet "Sun of My Soul" was sung by Mrs. Carlson and Mrs. Leone Told with Elizabeth Told accompanying. accom-panying. A trio including Bill Told, Mrs. Told and Mrs. Carlson sang "The Prayer." ' A tribute to the participating families, fam-ilies, with an appreciation for their many years of faithful and talented service mas given by Bishop Joseph S. Walker. The invocation and benediction were given by Everett West and Robert Hilton. |
