Show Coil Parent-Teacher !Cwl Founders Honored ' C, At Program Here Founders of the National Parent Teachers association were honored 1 by the local organization at an ann- 11 iversary program in the Pleasant li Grove high school auditorium Monday Mon-day evening. . Mrs. C. S. Ebenstein, an officer of 1-tj, " the Utah county organization, gave the tribute to the founders, telling IWj how the great movement was started forty-four years ago. """ . The subject "Nutritional Problems of the Home," was treated by Mrs. L ' Loy Doss, Alpine school district 7 nurse, who conducted an open for- I um discussion of questions presented by the parents in the group. Jj The music departments of the central and the high schools furnished furn-ished the following musical numbers: num-bers: vocal solo, "Rose of Trawlee" by Leon Storrs, accompanied by Miss Betha Storrs, instrumental selections, selec-tions, violin and cornet, by June West and Edward Hoopes. Prayer was given by William C. Smith. Mrs. Lena Pearson conducted conduct-ed the program, which was arranged by the program committee. |
