Show U Remodeling At Local Hospital Nears Completion Extensive alterations are being completed this week at the American Ameri-can Fork Community hospital, providing pro-viding more room and a better arrangement ar-rangement of the hospital departments. depart-ments. A modernly-equlpped and conveniently-arranged kitchen has been built on the ground floor, in the room just north of the entrance. Patients' meals are transported to the second floor on the elevator and distributed from a serving truck. This truck was contributed to the hospital by the L. D. S. hospital at Salt Lake City. Moving of the kitchen has greatly great-ly increased the space available for hospital use. The kitchen and the room adjoining, which was formerly useu as the nursery, have been connected con-nected by a large arch and will be used as a ward. The room formerly occupied by the office will be used as a private room. The nursery and office have been moved to another large room at the north end of the hall, formerly used as a ward. This room has been partitioned, par-titioned, with the nursery located in the rear and the office in front. A large window will permit visitors to see the babies from the office, without with-out going into the nursery. Being located near' the stairway and elevator the office is expected to be much more convenient for the public. |
