Show LIBRARY REPORT FOR 1934 The total circulation of books from the Pleasant Grove public library for 1934 is as follows, according to the report of Mrs. Ethel West, librarian. li-brarian. Adult books 8,402, childrens 7,513, magazines 4,061, scout manuels 83 making a total of 20,059 in circulation. circula-tion. New cards have been issued to 170 borrowers, 41 adult and 129 juniors. Some 84 books have been added, 42 junior and 42 adult. Seventeen children's books were purchased by money donated by the Mother's club, 13 adult books purchased by rental collections and the remaining 54 have been donated by public spirited spirit-ed residents. New Books In Library The following new books are on the rental shelf: The Everlasting Whisper, by Gregory; The Plains of Abraham, by Curwood; Two Gun Man, by Seltzer; Trail to Yesterday, by Seltzer; Square Deal Sanderson, by Seltzer; Me and Shorty, by Mul-ford; Mul-ford; Tumbleweed, by Mulford; Brand Blotters, by Raine; Big Town Round-Up, by Raine; Three Days of Terror, by Fletcher; Daughter of Fu Manchu, by Rohmer. Herbert Hoover's new book "The Conquest of Liberty", has been received with the compliments of the publishers, Charles Char-les Scribners & Sms. "The Four Little Kittens" has been donated for the children by Mrs. Harold Walker also "A Childs Story Reader" by Mrs. J. H. Walker. The last three are free to borrowers. |
