Show KANARRAVILLE NEWS By Hannah Darts A wedding reception was held In the church recreation hall on Saturday evening, May 4, In hon. or of Mr. and Mrs. Kelvin Zoh-ner, Zoh-ner, who were married that day In the St. George L D S Temple. There was a program, dancing and light refreshments. Many friends and relatives from surrounding sur-rounding towns were here. Kel-vln Kel-vln is the son of Mrs. Ferl Zohn-r Zohn-r and the late Alrick Zohncr and Mrs. Zohner is the former Susie leader, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Leader. The young couple received many beautiful and useful gifts. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Williams and Loria Robinson were business busi-ness visitors in Salt Lake City last week. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Munford of Cedar City visited here Sunday Sun-day with their son and family, Mr. and Mrs. George Munford. B. N. Williams, Carolyn Batty and Rona Ence attended the Region 10 music festival at Fillmore Fill-more Saturday. B. N. is In the junior high school band and Carolyn and Raona In the music group. Mr. and Mrs. Browning Piatt and family of Cedar City were Sunday visitors at the home of Mrs. Mina Piatt. Visitors here over the week end from Henderson and Las Vegas Ve-gas were Mr. and Mrs. George Wood, Mrs. Delila Davis and sons. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Chris-tensen Chris-tensen and family. Also Mr. and Mrs. Clair Woodbury and children. chil-dren. They were accompanied on thel return by Mrs. Woodbury's mother. Alice Polloch, and her sister Vaughn Isom. Mr. and Mrs. Lalif Wood and daughter Sharla of Kanab were here Saturday. All came to attend at-tend the wedding reception of Mr. and Mrs. Kelvin Zohncr. The Sunday School gave a Mother's Day program Sunday. It was held last Sunday owing to stake conference being held on May 12 and 13. Each mother moth-er of the ward received a nice potted plant. Berta Williams presented pre-sented each mother and grandmother grand-mother of her little class with a beautiful corsage. Mrs. Lucile Gubler has return, ed home after a week's visit In Salt Lake City with her daughter daugh-ter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Nathaniel Naegle. The MIA special Interest class held a fireside at the Relief Re-lief Society room Sunday eve- ning. Devon Reeves was the speaker. Leah Jean Boardman of Para-gonah Para-gonah spent Monday here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lorln Robinson. Mrs. Fayon Christensen and children have returned home after af-ter a week's visit in Henderson with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lionel Davis. Boyd Reeves spent Sunday here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Reeves. i Mr. and Mrs. Ren Williams visited Friday and Saturday In Delta. They were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Elton Stapley and children and Mrs. Christine Anderson of Cedar City. They visited with their mother and sister, Rebecca Stapley of Delta, who has been in poor health for some time. Mr. and Mrs. Williams Wil-liams drove on to Fillmore to at-tend at-tend the music festival, returning return-ing home Saturday evening. Mrs. Rosena Blake and granddaughter grand-daughter Janice Blake of St. George were v'sitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Davies. The Relief Society held a Bake Sale and bazaar Monday afternoon in the Relief Society room. Mr. and Mrs. Ren Williams received word of the birth of twin boys. April 19 to the granddaughter, grand-daughter, Mrs. Jim Wilson of Los Angeles, Calif. Mrs. Wilson was the former Revoe Williams, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Max Williams. Seems some of our youngsters have had a streak of bad luck the last few days. Russell Williams had the misfortune to fracture both WTists last week while at school. He Is a son cf Mr. and Mrs. Willard Williams. B. N.
