Mrs. Gold Topham Top-ham and Mrs. Pauline Topham, band mothers, went along as chaperones. Mrs. Iris Jones and Mrs. Eva Boll had the following visitors frm Pangultch during the week: Mrs. Eva Tebbs, Mrs. Jim Myres, Mrs. Earl Allen, Mrs. Chester Henrie, Mrs. Lloyd Worthen, Mrs. Rowena Owens, Mrs. Arthur Par-tridge Par-tridge and Mrs. Travis Cooper. Mrs. Ked Riding came from Los Angeles Saturday to Join her family who have been here for the past few months. Mr. and Mrs. Don Barton traveled trav-eled to Pangultch Saturday where Mrs. Barton attended a trousseau tea for her niece, Miss Mary Ann Sandin, at the homo of her fcTandmother, Mrs. John Miller Miss Sandin spoke mar-Mage mar-Mage vows with Brent Bastlan recently. William T. Davenport had the thrill of officiating at the christening chris-tening of his first great grandchild grand-child at the Parowan Second Ward Sacrament meeting Sunday. Sun-day. Little Miss Susan Lory Skinner Skin-ner is the new daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Skinner of Salt Lake City. The grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. McKay Smith of Parowan and Mr. Skinner of Beaver. Mr. and Mrs. Asa Topham received re-ceived word of the marriage on Saturday evening of their granddaughter, grand-daughter, Jeralynn. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Topham, former residents of this community, now of Salt Lake City, were hosts at a wedding wed-ding and reception Saturday evening eve-ning at their home for Jeralynn and Wallace A. Wright. Jr. Bish-op Bish-op Stanley G. Smith performed the ceremony in the presence of relatives and close friends. Some 500 guests called during the evening. eve-ning. Mr. and Mrs. Alma Topham and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Topham, Top-ham, uncles and aunts of the bride traveled to the capital dry for the affair. Carolyn Barton, second grade student, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Barton, who was operated oper-ated on Wednesday of last week for appendicitis at the Iron County Coun-ty Hospital, was brought home Monday. Mrs. Sarah Robinson, Mrs. Pauline Topham, Mrs. Gold Topham, Mrs. Delia Topham traveled to St. George Thursday to attend sessions ses-sions at the temple there. They also visited briefly with Mrs. Bell Topham. On Sunday Walter Talbot, Barton Bar-ton Prothero and Bill Talbot took an interesting trip to Glen Canyon. Can-yon. Gerry Thornton spent the week end with the Earl Thornton family fam-ily from Salt Lake City where he Is employed. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Brlnghurst of Toquervllle, and Mr. and Mrs. Antone Brlnghurst of Hurricane 'were brief visitors at the Terry Lund home on Saturday. Leo Dunton went to Salt Lake City during the week for a check up with his doctor at the Veterans Veter-ans Hospital. A3c Larry Robb arrived home early Saturday morning by plane and bus from Mississippi where he has been stationed as a member mem-ber of the Air Force. Mr. and Mrs. Clark Robb, Miss Phyllis Robb of Paragonah, and Miss Karen Robb of Cedar City, drove to Henderson, Nev.. Saturday Satur-day to attend the wedding of their son Larry and Miss Kareen Wilcock on Sunday. They a)o visited with their daughters and families, Mr. and Mrs. Bud Orton and Mr. and Mrs. Ben Guerin. Miss Kareen Wilcock of Henderson, Hen-derson, Nev. was the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Clark Robb since Wednesday to be on hand to greet her fiance, Larry Robb. |
