Show Legion Auxiliary Unit Holds Election Meet New officers were elected by. the Cedar City unit of the American Amer-ican Legion auxiliary at the regular reg-ular meeting Thursday. Mrs. Ma-tilda Ma-tilda Biederman was re-elected to the position of president, and she in turn appointed Mrs. Tearl Rogers to serve another term as secretary. Other officers elected were Vera Sherratt, first vice president; presi-dent; Mary (Mame) Bulloch; second vice president; Tersis Higbee, historian; Virginia Smith, sergeant-at-arms; Iva Nelson, color bearer, and Naomi Tlatt, music. Retiring officers are Lea Gil-lin. Gil-lin. first vice president; Alice Clifton, second vice president; Audrey Wallace, historian; Vera Sherratt, music; Christy Williams, Wil-liams, chaplain, and Leah Bess, sergeant-at-arms. Following the business meeting meet-ing refreshments were served. It was reported at the meeting that 22 members of the local auxiliary unit attended the recent re-cent district convention in Farowan. |
