Show I Blood Procurement Program Organized in Parowan The Utah State Red Cross bloodmoblle will visit Parowan for the purpose of collecting donations do-nations on Thursday, May 16, It is announced by Mrs. A. C. Hatch, Red Cross officer in Parowan, Par-owan, Joan Wheatley and Margaret Knight are acting as co-chairmen for this visit of the bloodmoblle blood-moblle and will conduct an active ac-tive campaign to sign up pledges for this visit The bloodmoblle will be set up as usual at the industrial arts department of the Parowan High School with blood to be taken from 3:45 to 7 p. m. that day, it is announced, which will give all classes of workers an opportunity oppor-tunity to make blood donations. The quota set for the Parowan area on this trip is 60 pints, and it is hoped that the quota can be met by Parowan and Paragon-ah Paragon-ah residents. Nellie Bentley with be in charge of the canteen and will be assisted by ladies of the American Legion Auxiliary. Doctors Doc-tors from the clinics In Cedar City will be in attendance during the hours the blood station is open. |
