Show V.F.W. Auxiliary Elects New District Officers A District 10 meeting of the Veteran of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Auxil-iary was held In Cedar City this week for the purpose of electing new officers. Mrs. Marjorie Ar-rowsmith Ar-rowsmith of Cedar City, district president, presided at the meeting. meet-ing. Elected to succeed Mrs. Ar--rowsmith. at the helm of the organization or-ganization was Cora Jones. Mil-ford. Mil-ford. Bonnie Cannon of St. George was elected as senior vice president and Margery Lampman, Cedar City, was named nam-ed Junior vice president. The election was held at an impressive dinner meeting at the Far East Cafe. Named treasurer was Bernlce Stewart, Mllford; conductress, Leah Bess, Cedar City, and another an-other Cedar City woman, Grace Esplln, was elected as chaplain. Ellen NIelson, St. George, will serve as guard. Mrs. Jones will appoint the re- malning district officers follow. Ing the annual installation at the annual encampment in June, it Is understood.' 1 |
