Show Blood Drive Chairman Predicts Successful Program "Groups and individuals who have pledged support of the Red Cross Blood Bank Monday are going to put us within reach ot our blood quota. From the generous gen-erous support shown and desire to help among all groups and individuals contacted, we are expecting ex-pecting a most successful draw." This was the opinion of Procurement Pro-curement Chairman Dale L, Nelson Nel-son today as he told of the willingness wil-lingness of community and church groups to donte their services. ser-vices. The presidents of five auxiliary organizations have pledged 10 pints apiece. They are the Elks, Lions, Kiwani-Anns, Business and Professional Women Wo-men and Jayeee-Ettes. The blood drawing is scheduled sched-uled between 2 and 8 p. ra. on Monday. The Air Force Detachment at College of Southern Utah is also al-so backing the drive with a number of members offering to donate. In addition, the students are being contacted by the student stu-dent officers in an effort to help boost the drive to its quota. Mr. Nelson pointed out that the needy citizens in Iron County Coun-ty still use as much blood as the Red Cross gets from donations dona-tions in the county. "Giving is a wonderful experience. exper-ience. If you are of normal health, please consider giving to this worthwhile project," he said. |
