Show By Hilma LamorMux Funeral services for Captain Ruth Dalton will be held In the Paragonah Ward chapel on Thursday commencing at 2 p. m Mrs. Mary Ortner arrived In town on Saturday to be with her family, the J. L. Daltons during their bereavement Sid Reese arrived here early last week from California to spend some time with the Dalton Dal-ton family. He Is a brother of Mrs. Dalton. Mr. and Mrs. Elmo C Robinson combined business and pleasure for a trip to southern California with their three eldest children last week end. They were gone from Thursday to Sunday. Bud had business in Los Angeles and they visited with relatives In Norwalk and Moorpark. They spent the majority of one day at Disneyland and returned home by way of Las Vegas where they visited with Dorothy's sister Barbara. The two younger chll-ren chll-ren spent the time with relatives in Enoch. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Christen-sen Christen-sen and Mrs. Lola Robb wero here from Salt Lake City for the wpek end. They visited with the Will Robb and Douglas Davenport Daven-port families. On Saturday members mem-bers of the family traveled to St. George to do temple work. Included In-cluded In the group were the Douglas Davenport family, Mr. and Mrs. Chrlstensen, Mr. and Mrs. LeGrande Robb, Mrs. Leon a J. Stones and Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Lew-is Davenport Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Gor-don Farnsworth of Parowan were also Included in the group. Mrs. Clara Robb spent Saturday Satur-day at the St. George Temple with her son Harold and family of Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Ken-neth G. Topham, Mrs. Bertha S. Topham and Mrs. Delia Topham accompanied her. DUP meeting was held on Thursday of last week at the home of Mrs. Lula R. Bastion. The meeting was quite well attended at-tended and a very fine time was had by those present An exceptional Sunday evening eve-ning service was presented by the Primary on April 24, and all children enrolled in the Primary Pri-mary participated In the pro-the pro-the parents. The Paragonah Ward Building Committee will sponsor a benefit bene-fit dinner on Saturcuy, April 30 gram along with a number of in the basement of the ward chapel. cha-pel. Several fine turkeys have been donated by the Bill Board-man Board-man family and will be roasted with dressing for the occasion. Ladles of the community have been asked to prepare other items on the menu and all proceeds pro-ceeds will go to the ward building build-ing fund. Dinner will be served from 5 to 7 p. m. and everyone is Invited to come and bring their own dishes. The infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Robinson was scheduled for an operation to be performed on Thursday of this week at the Iron County Hufpital. Edwin Williamson, who has been In the Iror. County Hospital Hospi-tal for several weeks, was released re-leased on Sunday and is convalescing conval-escing at the home-of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Whitney in Parowan. The Primary organization will hold its annual bazaar on Tuesday Tues-day afternoon, May 3 In the church basement. Among the items for sale will be wreaths and other flower arrangements suitable for Memorial Day, Mother's Moth-er's Day, candy, baked goods and pop corn. Everyone is Invited to support this worthy cause. Clyde Lamoreaux was home from Provo for the week end with his folks, Mr. and Mrs. Errol Lamoreaux. Also visiting at the Lamoreaux home were Donald and Laura Burton of Cedar City. Miss Ivy Robinson was home from Cedar City to spend the week end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. K. Dayle Robinson. Miss Beth Gibson of Salt Lake City was In town last week for a visit with her grandmother, Mrs. Elizabeth Maxwell and the Wilson Lunds. Mrs. Lydia Patterson Pat-terson and a lady friend from Beaver also visited at the Lund home list week. Elbert Thornton left here on Tuesday of last week to return to Moses Lake, Wash., after making mak-ing the trlD to Utah to sh his ailing mother, Mrs. Eda Thornton. Thorn-ton.
