Show Public Hearing Planned On Tax, Special Improvements Public Hearing Called to Study Tax Adoption I i Since the state Legislature authorized au-thorized cities to levy a one-half cent sales tax for city purposes on an optional basis, some citizens citi-zens have maintained that Cedar City should adopt such a tax.. Because Be-cause of such recommendations, Mayor Arnold Anderson announces, an-nounces, the city administration will make a study of the matter. The meeting will be held in the El Escalante Hotel ballroom at 8 p. m. Thursday, April 28, and all citlzenii are urged to attend and participate.
