Show BPW Club Officers Appointed To Southern District Mrs. John Beal of Cedar City was li '.lied as the president of the Southern District of the Business Bus-iness and Professional Women's Clubs at the convention held at Milford Sunday. . 1 Also elected to a district office of-fice at the convention was Nettie Net-tie Morris of Cedar City who will serve as vice director with Mrs. Beal. Installation was condiu Ml by the outgoing district director, Mrs. Ross Smith of Beaver and by out-going vice director, Mrs. Rudolph Church of Pangultch. " Highlight of the convention was the address given by Mrs. J. C. Cardall, Salt Lake City president of the Utah Federation of BPW Clubs. 'Mrs. Cardall imported im-ported to the BPW Club members in attendance the Importance of the .Social Security program and admonished the clubs to keep an eye on legislation which will affect af-fect this Droerarrt. "It Is vital." she stated, "to understand the full benefits offered of-fered by the current Social Security Secur-ity program and how It will be effected by any future leglsla-tion.,, leglsla-tion.,, ' Mrs. Cardall . Gardner, Pangultch and Mrs. Jim Withrow, Cedar City. Lillian Lunt of Cedar City, general gen-eral chairman of the state BPW convention to be staged In Cedar City in June, also made a report at the conference regarding convention con-vention activities. |
