Show Dinner Club Guests To Hear Utah Prognosticate Final number of the current season for the Escalante Knife and Fork Club will be held Monday Mon-day evening, May 2 at Hotel El Escalante It was announced by Eugene T. Woolf, secretary. Ouest speaker for the evening will be E. H. (Biff) Azbill, assistant assist-ant secretary of the Salt Lake Chamber cf Commerce. In addition addi-tion his duties Include manager of the membership department and manager of the Industrial department of the capital city chamber of commerce. Mr. Azbill Indicated that his remarks for the evening will be centered on the Industrial picture of Utah past, present and future fu-ture Including the various phasefl of Industry-chemicals, electronics and manufacturing. The speaker was raised on a homestead on the Cherokee Strip and attended high school tt Cherokee, Okla. He was a student at Kansas State Agricultural College Col-lege for one year and spent three and one-half years at the University of Utah. Prior to becoming affiliated with the Salt Lake City Chamber of Commerce In 1951, Mr. Azbill taught school In Eureka, Utah and later became emnloyed by General Motors Accentance Corp. where he was credit manager, credit supervisor and special collection col-lection manager. I During World War II he had charge of the mileage r tioning 1 program for the state of Utah. |
