Show Southern Utah Talent On Display Friday Night, at 8 An array of talented youngsters young-sters from throughout southern Utah will perform Friday, April 29 at the College of Southern Utah auditorium in the Kiwanls sponsored Junior Talent Show. Twenty numbers In three different dif-ferent categories will participate in the annual show and the winners win-ners In each of the divisions will be awarded trophies, donated donat-ed by businesses In Cedar City. The show Is being staged under un-der the direction of the Youth Committee of the Kiwanls Club with Neal Carter as chairman Master of ceremonies will be Sheldon Prestwich. Judging of the numbers will be by audience reaction with an applause meter to be read by a panel of Judges. Nearly 75 youngsters participated partici-pated In tryuts for the show Saturday and the final selections for Friday evening's performance were named at that time. Tickets are on sal by any club member and they will also be on 1e at the door on the evening of the performance. All funds received re-ceived will be used to help com-plete com-plete the new LltMe League park now utiiVr construction, according accord-ing to York Jones, club president In addition to Cedar City a number of participants from out of town Including Psrowan. Be, ver. Mlnersvtlle and Milford, will take part In the talent show. |
